Assembly of the 3.5 m (11.5 ft) diameter Main Beam TBM was completed in July 2007 in the Robbins China manufacturing facility. The machine will bore two headings of 244 m (800 ft) and 165 m (541 ft) without a conventional back-up system for the China State/China Railway JV.
