This example indicates that the hose length has a significant influence on both the power and pressure losses in high-pressure cleaning. Thus, it is recommended to work with a hose length that corresponds with the sewer network allowing for the cleaning of all sections without the use of additional hose lengths.

Using a flow accelerator has a positive effect on the performance result. In the example mentioned above, the residual power is thereby increased from 38 % to 58 % at a given hose length of 120 m and from 12% to 45% at a given hose length of 240 m. As a result, this cleaning method is ideal for very long lines or sections up to a maximum of 800 m.
