Furthermore, depending on the function of the surge flushing device, it is important to ensure the availability of electrical and data services.
 

In step 4, the investment and operational costs for all surge flushing devices worth considering are determined and compared. In the process, possible cost advantages owing to parallel applications (e.g. management measures) must be taken into account.
