Inspection plans combine statements with respect to the deposition behavior from various operational processes, as for example in the course of manhole or shaft inspections (accessed by man or by technical equipment) to be carried out according to DWA-A 147, and determine the additional inspection effort required.
They can include a visual inspection of manholes/shafts to determine the deposition behavior in the channel of the manhole/shaft, but also the use of visual inspection processes for drains, sewers and manholes. The information obtained from the inspections is integrated into the sewer database.
Updates of inspection plans with respect to the required inspection frequency and priority are performed based on the severity of the classified and assessed deposits.
