Parkson University Series on Wastewater Treatment Proves Popular Among Both Industry Professionals and the General Public
May 18, 2018
Second introduction to the wastewater treatment process video focuses on headworks.
Following up on the success of the first video in the Parkson University series, comes the second video focused on the headworks, screenings dewatering and conveyance process in wastewater treatment.
This series of educational videos, created by the innovative engineers at Parkson Corporation, aims to teach the public about wastewater basics by starting from the very beginning and explaining in an entertaining way.
The first video reviews the contents of municipal wastewater, the ill effects untreated water causes and why we must treat it. In the second video, we examine how large inert wastes are treated through the headworks steps. This video reviews the process of physical separations and the different types of screens used to filter the waste from the water, such as in-channel screens and rotating drum screens.
The "Introduction to the Wastewater Treatment Process" series is unlike any other out there and has received reviews praising it for its simplicity, valuable content and filling the gap on much needed content. Whether you don’t know the first thing about what happens when you flush the toilet, or you’re an engineer or an operator with 20 years under your belt in wastewater, there is certainly something in this video series for you.
