Lining with Site Manufactured pipes

Characteristic of this group of processes is the site manufactured of a self-carrying or statically stable liner (Abschnitt 5.3.2.1) either immediately before the insertion into the section of the sewer to be rehabilitated or within the same. The liner so produced is immediately load carrying and functional.

One distinguishes between the following groups of processes (Image 5.3.3.4.1-1) :

  • Lining with site manufactured pipes with annular space; and
  • Lining with in site manufactured pipes without annular space.

Both groups are based exclusively on the lining process with spirally wound pipes.

As regards the region of application and conditions for the utilisation, as well as the specification positions within the scope of the preparatory work, the annular space grouting as well as the finishing work and testing, reference is made to the relevant paragraphs of the conventional sliplining process with annular space in (Abschnitt 5.3.2.2.1) (Image 5.3.3.4.1-2) (Table 5.3.3.4.1-1). In the case under consideration, the position of the insertion excavation is unnecessary as the rehabilitation is carried out via manholes. The finishing works, in the cases that the covering concrete of the manhole floor must be removed for technical reasons, must include the position about the replacement of the same.
