| Piston pump | Simple construction; about 90% efficiency, relatively noisy; water filtration necessary in combination with water reclamation technology due to a maximum allowable particle size of 160mm. |
| Hydraulic pressure transformer (oil pressure into water pressure) | Quiet, wear resistant, robust for use with water reclamation; bulky and heavy, about 80% efficiency |
| Radial piston pump | High efficiency, quiet, pulsation-free, consistent pressure and even nozzle output quantity across the entire operating range, wear-resistant, flushing water and "pump elements" are not connected to each other; compact design, easy to repair, water reclamation not an issue |
| Axial piston pump | Wear resistant, flushing water and "pump elements" do not come into contact; easy repair, water reclamation not an issue |
