European geothermal conferences now will come back to Munich, where already in 1983 one of the first relevant conferences, the “European Geothermal Update”, had been organised by the European Commission.

With the inclusion of the EGEC Business Seminar 2007 into EGC 2007, the organisers demonstrate the growing economic weight of geothermal energy, and the high importance of close links between science and industry, in order to increase the share of geothermal energy within the European energy portfolio.

The EGC 2007 shall be very rich with interesting contents, enabling to participants exiting new improvements of professional “know-how”, learning about new developments in other European countries, inclusion in international activities like it is the foundation of IGA European Regional Branch, or in work of the European Geothermal Council EGEC, etc.

In addition to the conference there will be an exhibition, offering a good review of the specialized geothermal industry.
