The optimization of the cleaning expenses is closely related to the determination of the required cleaning interval. It has to be taken into consideration that, as a result of the frequency, very short cleaning intervals lead to high costs. Very long intervals can also cause high costs, because, depending on the deposits’ degree of solidification, the cleaning effort can be much more time-consuming.
Therefore, extending the cleaning intervals does not necessarily reduce the costs.
