The Sielwolf is pulled through the section to be cleaned using a winch. The deposits are removed using high pressure water blasting. This process results in a water-debris mix, or slurry, that is transported via a pump into skip containers which are set up above ground. Preceding the pump is a portable sieve which is used to protect the system by removing particles greater than 50mm and shredding materials, such as textiles, to small pieces.
