Northwest Trenchless Conference Scheduled for Nov. 24-25 in Calgary, Alberta

The North American Society for Trenchless Technology - Northwest Chapter and the Tunneling Association of Canada will be presenting the 2009 Northwest Trenchless Conference in Calgary on Nov. 25. This will be the 13th annual presentation of this event.

This one-day conference offers excellent learning and networking opportunities for trenchless industry professionals, and includes several technical presentations and a trade show. Technical presentations will cover various trenchless topics including tunneling, horizontal directional drilling, boring, lining, flow bypassing and other related subjects. All conference delegates will receive an electronic copy of the technical presentations.

On Nov. 24, NASTT will be hosting its annual pre-conference short course - New Installation Methods Good Practices. The one-day short course addresses a number of trenchless methods commonly used to install new pipe and pipe casings. These methods include: auger boring, pipe ramming, pipe jacking and the pilot tube method.

Arrive early on Nov. 25 to complete your registration and have breakfast while visiting the trade show. Prize draws will be held throughout the day.
