When shove comes to push. James Thomson has the answers.

Conference organisers Great Southern Press are proud to have James Thomson, founder and consultant at Jason Consultants, on board as a keynote presenter at Trenchless Australasia 2008 - the 7th National ASTT Conference and Exhibition.

Mr Thomson is a world renowned trenchless pioneer and has worked professionally in the construction industry for more than 45 years. He is acknowledged as an authority on soft ground utility tunnelling, pipe jacking and microtunnelling, and jacked structures. His expertise dates back to 1958, when he pioneered the development and use of pipe jacking techniques.

Presenting "When shove comes to push: developing microtunnelling and pipe jacking markets and technology" Mr Thomson discusses the development of microtunnelling and pipe jacking, and specifically addresses ways in which the markets for these technologies can grow in the future.

As the author of the book Pipejacking and Microtunnelling and co-author of An Introduction to Trenchless Technology and a five book compendium on Microtunnelling and Pipe Jacking, Mr Thomson is well qualified to present on this topic, and delegates will benefit from the years of experience and knowledge Mr Thomson will impart on all.
