Interflow Signs Strategic Alliance to Forge the Future of the Trenchless Technology Industry

May 06, 2016

A significant 20-year agreement between Interflow Pty Limited & Sekisui Rib Loc Australia (SRLA) demonstrates how two of the industry’s most innovative companies are working to advance pipeline rehabilitation technologies in order to meet the changing needs of asset owners across Australasia.

The strategic alliance will expand one of the industry’s greatest success stories, and will see Interflow working to pioneer solutions to meet the specific pipeline infrastructure needs of the water, sewer, local government, road, rail, mining, and energy industries.

This historic agreement builds on the proven success of the past 25 years that has seen Interflow and SRLA work closely to develop world-leading advancements with spiral wound liners, significantly extending the possibilities for cost-effective rehabilitation of pipeline networks.

Interflow’s Managing Director Geoff Weaver said “Many of the projects that we have completed using technology delivered by SRLA have gained global recognition. This agreement highlights Interflow’s commitment to continue developing solutions to meet the changing needs of our clients. It will result in greater cooperation, technology exchange and joint development of further innovations.”

Since 1991 Interflow has lined over 2,500 km of deteriorated sewers, stormwater conduits and culverts throughout Australia and New Zealand with the SRLA range of spiral wound liners. Based on Interflow’s championing of these products, spiral wound liners now account for well over half of the sewers relined in Australia and New Zealand.

This alliance will result in the continued development of innovative infrastructure renewal options for our clients and further expand the potential of the Trenchless Technology industry.
