Full House expected at Plastic Pipe Conference in Las Vegas
Oct 26, 2016
Announcing the venue, Conference Chairman Zoran Davidovski says: “Our recent Berlin Conference was a resounding success. It attracted almost 450 participants from 43 countries and covered the very latest developments in plastic pipe technology as well as the global industry that pioneers its application.”
“A total of 116 papers and 14 posters were delivered to Conference and our Exhibition was our largest ever with 39 exhibitors. Our Las Vegas event is expected to be slightly larger in scale and scope. Nevada is the driest state in the US and is rapidly becoming a showcase for water management on a world scale. Plastic pipes are playing a vital role there in water harvesting, drainage and delivery.”
Key subjects to be covered at Las Vegas will focus on technical and marketing issues relating to the materials, design and development, testing, installation and operation of plastic pipe systems. Best practice will be viewed through the prism of sustainability as well as the use of landmark case studies. Technical and engineering pipe solutions will also be reviewed and the conference program will identify market trends for further growth in the use of plastic pipes.
South Africa and China
Organisers of Plastic Pipes XIX are the Plastic Pipes Conference Association (PPCA). In addition to the main event in Las Vegas, two spin-off conferences are announced for next year. The first will be hosted in South Africa on 5 – 6 September 2017 and the second in China in mid- October 2017.
Member associations of the PPCA comprise the PE100+ Association, Plastics Pipe Institute, PVC4Pipes and The European Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association (TEPPFA).
