ERGELIT-SBM: Repair mortar, shaft head mortar, adhesive mortar – universal but specific!
Apr 08, 2016
ONE universal mortar for drain & sewer construction and rehabilitation.
Every professional occasionally has a berm that needs repairing, or a hole that needs plugging in a wall. Is that manhole frame sitting a bit low or do you have to set a compensating ring in place quickly and securely? Does an invert channel need bedding in, or ceramic or cast basalt tiles need laying?
Are you constructing sewer walls, berms or shafts that have to be watertight and back in service - fast? Is it your responsibility to get these jobs done quickly and to get the site operational even more quickly?
However fast the job needs to be done, durability and sustainability are still crucial.
If you’re faced with these or similar problems, then ERGELIT-SBM is the solution!
ERGELIT-SBM is a ‘ready-to-use’ mortar. You simply add water on site and mix ERGELIT-SBM with a twin-paddle mixer to make a stiff-plastic fresh mortar. You have 15 minutes to perform the task with ERGELIT-SBM.
Typical applications:
These are just a few examples showing the wide range of uses of ERGELIT-SBM.
To sum up the characteristics that make ERGELIT-SBM so easy to process, so durable and so sustainable:
- Processing time of 15 to 25 minutes, ideal for these applications
- Ease of processing and plastic consistency
- Very high adhesive or tensile strength even between fused cast basalt and concrete
- Impermeability
- Very high abrasion resistance
- Very high corrosion resistance
- Very high initial compressive strength and final strength
These and other positive features are making this dry mortar ever more popular with our clients.
Our application engineers will gladly advise you about the specific application that interests you. Naturally, they are also ready to help you on site with a particular problem.
