DMT Announces Purchase of IMC Group Consulting Ltd - Contract signed on 25th July 2006

DMT is an independent mining engineering and consulting company having about 600 permanent employees. The company offers services in the fields of natural resources exploration and geology, mining consulting and coke making technology.

The acquisition is seen as very positive by all the parties involved. The two mining consulting businesses of International Mining Consultants and DMT – Montan Consulting will be merged in order to offer their combined skills and resources to the international market in future. IMC Group Consulting Limited will become the DMT business to lead the international mining consulting, building on IMC's established reputation, network and expertise.

The acquisition does not include any of the other IMC Group companies, namely IMC Geophysics Ltd and IMC Geophysics International Ltd, Rock Mechanics Technology Ltd, Associated Mining Consultants Ltd in Canada and Gastec at CRE Ltd, all of which will continue to develop their own businesses internationally.
