Die Kanalflüsterer at the IFAT 2012

The leading international trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and resource management will again this year be the meeting place for experts from around the world - it is therefore only logical that "Die Kanalflüsterer" are represented with their own stand.

Founded by a consortium of industry leaders, the Kanalflüsterer (i.e. "sewer-whisperers") believe in and stand for equally efficient and sustainable operation and maintenance management of drainage systems. The members of this dynamic network of experts comprise of independent engineering companies that have committed to providing the highest standard of service in urban infrastructure network management.
 
As part of the IFAT 2012, the Kanalflüsterer seek to open new dialogues with interested operators and owners in order to emphasize the importance of strategic planning and rehabilitation of drain and sewer networks. Central to this topic is the integrated network management model STATUS, developed by one of the Kanalflüsterer founding members: S & P Consult GmbH (www.stein.de).
 
In combination with the valuable experience and knowledge of a specialized team of engineers, STATUS enables anticipatory planning that takes into account best practices and analyses of detailed strategic forecasts. STATUS provides a solid foundation for achieving a perfect balance between operational needs and available funds.
