Dates Set for Microtunneling Short Course
Oct 31, 2014
Annual Course Scheduled for Feb. 10-12, 2015 in Golden, Colo.
The Microtunneling Short Course returns to the Colorado School of Mines campus in Golden, Feb. 10-13, 2015, for its 21st year. The course includes a one-day Pilot Tube Microtunneling seminar on Feb. 9. This Short Course has become the premier event for microtunneling professionals worldwide.
Microtunneling has continued to evolve and expand since its inception in the United States nearly 30 years ago because of its reduced impact on roads, residents and people. The Microtunneling Short Course is the premier educational vehicle worldwide for training in this specialty field, and includes presentations from leading experts discussing all facets of the discipline, from design and planning to shaft construction and slurry management.
Presenters include a panel of international experts organized by Course Directors Timothy Coss, President of Microtunneling Inc. and Dr. Levent Ozdemir, President of Ozdemir Engineering. More than 2,600 contractors, consulting professionals, owner agency representatives, manufacturing and supplied representatives, and students have attended the course since its inception in 1994.
As part of the program, winners of the Microtunneling Achievement Awards will be recognized at the Banquet Dinner on Feb. 11 at the Golden Hotel. The winner will be announced in the 2015 North American Microtunneling Industry Review, a supplement to Trenchless Technology magazine. Past winners have been pioneers and leaders in the field of microtunneling and have represented a cross section of the market.
If you are involved with microtunneling, or are planning to be involved, the Microtunneling Short Course is a must-attend event to obtain the latest technical information to ensure a successful project.
