May 21, 2010

On Wednesday, May 26, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) will host the Removing Barriers to Reclaimed Water Use webcast. Water reuse is an important issue and opportunity facing communities around the globe as they work to provide enough drinking water for their populations; however barriers have delayed implementation and advancement.

This webcast will describe some of the more common situations that may prevent the beneficial use of reclaimed water, and will outline several approaches that have resulted in successful project outcomes. Webcast presenters include:
  • Don Vandertulip, Principal Engineer, CDM Engineering
  • Karla Fowler, Community Relations & Environmental Policy Director, LOTT Alliance, Olympia, WA
  • Pick Talley, Director (retired), Pinellas County Utilities, FL
  • Bob Peacock, Director, Pinellas County Utilities, FL
