Agenda Released for the 2015 Tunneling Short Course

From September 14-17, the Colorado School of Mines will host the 7th annual “Breakthroughs in Tunneling” Short Course. This intensive short course covers all aspects of tunneling from design and planning to construction and disputes and claims resolution. Presenters include world-renowned experts who will address every aspect of mechanized and conventional tunneling.

This course is intended for owners, engineers, contractors, equipment manufacturers and consultants involved in the design and construction of tunnels and underground structures. The Colorado School of Mines will award 2.3 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successful completion of this course. Course Directors include Levent Ozdemir of Ozdemir Associates, a tunnel consultant and a former professor at the School of Mines, and Tim Coss, President of Microtunneling Inc.

The schedule has been expanded to cover three and a half days of new presentations and ample networking time, while allowing attendees to travel home at a reasonable time on Thursday, September 17.
