WESTT Regional No-Dig Conference

As underground utility work continues to be of main interest in the West Coast states, the Western Society for Trenchless Technology (WESTT) will provide valuable information and solutions for many of these infrastructure needs during its 4th Annual Weste

Oct 13, 2008
Target groups: Public officials, engineers, utility company personnel, designers and contractors who are involved with constructing, rehabilitating, and managing underground utilities
Category: Conference
Again this year, attendees can expect a quality educational program and exhibits at the Western Regional No-Dig Conference, plus all the networking opportunities available to meet face-to-face with industry leaders. Conference goers can learn from and participate in more than 15 paper presentations designed especially for public officials, engineers, utility company personnel, designers and contractors. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered. This conference is unique in that technical paper presentations are carefully reviewed by a planning committee, ensuring that all papers and presentations are non-commercial. Presentations are geared towards projects and case histories, not focused on a specific product or particular technology. Participants will take home a CD-ROM of the conference proceedings - a handy resource for years to come. Leading manufacturers and suppliers are slated to fill the exhibit area with the latest technologies, products and services. The conference program is arranged so that exhibit hall hours do not conflict with the presentation time slots. Attendees will have plenty of time in their schedules to meet with the 20 sponsoring companies that will be exhibiting to discuss in greater detail the current technology and products they have to offer. In addition to the presentations and exhibits, participants can meet face-to-face with industry leaders in a fun and relaxed atmosphere during the networking reception in the exhibit area on the evening of Oct. 13. Conference organizers are also planning an off-site tour of a local microtunneling project on Oct. 14.Attendees who register on or before Sept. 12 receive a discounted early bird rate to attend the conference. A special discount rate is also available for members of NASTT, as well as multiple attendees who register from the same organization. Conference exhibits/sponsorship packages are also offered (platinum, gold, silver and bronze).
