The new comprehensive name of the International Water-Management Exhibition VOD-KA organised by SOVAK CR, and the International Environmental Fair ENVIBRNO is the International Water Management and Ecological Fair WATENVI. The new name is a combination of the words water and environment and symbolise the close connection between these branches.
"I am confident that under its new name the fair will be equally interesting and attractive for all companies and all interested parties which belong to the public services and that it will contribute to the improvement of the environment not only in the Czech Republic but also in the neighbouring countries," said František Barák, Chairman of the SOVAK CR Board of Directors.
WATENVI will be staged at the usual time in spring, i.e. from 26 to 28 May 2009, and will be the 15th to be held. The highlighted topics of this fair are "Water Management", "Waste Treatment and Recycling" and "Environmental Technologies".
