TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGIES IN ASIA PACIFIC – MACAU 2007 will provide an international forum for discussion of the latest techniques and developments in trenchless technology. In addition to a number of papers on trenchless techniques, the programme will highlight case studies of major projects already undertaken in the Pacific Region as well as the rest of the world.
Abstracts for the conference are still welcome and the deadline has been extended to May 1. In addition to the main conference programme Dr. Dec Downey and Dr. Samuel Ariaratnam, both internationally renowned trenchless experts, will be giving keynote lectures.
As well as the keynote lectures, the technical programme will include the oral presentation of the selected papers organised into themed sessions. An ice-breaker reception will be held on 7 Nov 2007 and a conference dinner on the evening of 8 Nov 2007. Technical visits are being arranged for 9 Nov 2007.
A Workshop on the Rehabilitation and Repair of Pressure Pipes, organised by the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT), is scheduled for 9 Nov in the same venue as the Conference. Delegates are strongly encouraged to take the opportunity of attending both the Conference and the Workshop.
