The successful combination of exhibition and international conference within the framework of HANNOVER MESSE is continued in 2009. EITEP in collaboration with the Deutsche Messe AG is hosting the 4th Pipeline Technology Conference on the 22-23 April 2009. Top-class experts of international degree from the oil, gas and water sector give presentations on key projects, sequence of operations and new technologies. The group of participants is highly international (50%). Representatives from operating companies, contractors, manufacturers, planners, service providers, agencies and ministries are coming to learn everything about trend setting as well as upgrading and extension strategies.
The event is opened with the "Word Pipeline Outlook", which is basically dealing with current questions of the European security of energy supply. In the following sessions new developments and technologies in the fields of planning, construction, operation, risk management and pipeline integrity are discussed. One highlight of the conference is going to be the "Asia/Africa-Europe Pipeline Forum". This forum is focussed on specific question of the fast growing production and consumer markets world-wide.
The subsequent technical sessions on the second conference day will feature presentations on onshore and offshore pipeline planning and construction, pipeline integrity, operation and maintenance, standards and regulations and pipeline materials and components.
