2012 ISA Water/Wastewater and Automatic Controls Symposium (FL, USA)

Aug 07, 2012 - Aug 09, 2012
Target groups: Branch Professionals, Engineers, Deciders,..
Category: Conference
Presented by the Water and Wastewater Division of ISA, the WWAC Symposium helps professionals in the water and wastewater industry understand how automatic control applications affect processing and distribution of water treatment and provide an outstanding opportunity to gain valuable technical information and training.

The WWAC Symposium is a “niche symposium” that caters specifically to the needs of automation professionals, technicians and engineers in the water/wastewater sector.  The event has a traditional attendance of 75-100 attendees, and attendees come from across the USA, Canada and Mexico.  The symposium is held in Orlando because the area traditionally has water/wastewater challenges, hotels are plentiful and inexpensive, and there are many airline flight options to the Orlando area.  Also, with Walt Disney World right next door the Orlando location provides attendees an opportunity to bring their families along for the trip.  The symposium organizing committee sees value in our “niche format” because it allows for a very focused, worthwhile event where all the participants get a chance to get to know each other.
