Einblick in Tiefbau durch praxisnahe Gastvorlesungen
Das Thema "Planen, Bauen und Betreiben von Abwasserleitungen und –kanälen" wird in der universitären Ausbildung eher untergeordnet gelehrt. Dabei ist die öffentliche Kanalisation eine der größten kommunalen Anlagevermögenpositionen und stellt ein interessantes Betätigungsfeld für Bauingenieure in Stadtentwässerungsbetrieben, Ingenieurbüros und Bauausführenden Unternehmen dar. Um den Nachwuchs praxisnah zu fördern, bietet die Fachvereinigung Betonrohre und Stahlbetonrohre e.V. (FBS) unter anderem Gastvorträge in der Vorlesung an.
Die FBS richtet sich mit ihrer Initiative an Lehrer und Studierende. Das FBS-Vortragspaket "Planung, Bau und Betrieb von Abwasserleitungen und –kanälen" darf uneingeschränkt genutzt werden.Die CD-ROM ist kostenfrei über www.fbsrohre.de zu bestellen. Ein Praxistag, eine Einladung in ein Betonwerk eines Mitgliedsunternehmens, um die Herstellung von Rohren und Schächten aus Beton und Stahlbeton in FBS-Qualität hautnah mitzuerleben oder eine Einladung auf den gemeinsamen Messestand von FBS und Mitgliedsunternehmen im Rahmen der "IFAT-Weltmesse" sowie der "Wasser Berlin International-Fachmesse" runden das Angebot ab.
