China: Herrenknecht-Mixschilde setzen neuen Meilenstein bei der Jangste-Querung

Nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss des "Shanghai Changjiang Under River Tunnel Project" querten zwei weitere Mixschild-Giganten von Herrenknecht mit einem Durchmesser von 14,93 m den Jangtse-Fluss. Am 20. Mai und am 22. August erreichten diese in Nanjing nach knapp 3 km Untergrundfahrt ihr Ziel. Der "Nanjing Yangtze River Tunnel" mit drei Spuren je Fahrtrichtung wird den Straßenverkehr der Großstadt entlasten.
Am 20. Mai 2009 stach die Herrenknecht S-350 auf der linken Trasse in den Zielschacht ein, die S-349 erreichte ihre Vortriebsendstation am 22. August 2009. Die beiden projektausführenden Unternehmen "Nanjing Changjiang Tunnel Project Co., Ltd. " und "China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co. Ltd." können stolz auf das Erreichte sein. Bis zu 32 m fertig gestellte Tunnelröhre pro Tag ist ein Spitzenwert in dieser Durchmesserklasse. Ende Juli 2009 kam die beste Wochenleistung zustande: 146 m neu produzierte Tunnelröhre. Gute Leistung wurde auch Herrenknecht-Experten attestiert. Alois Eisendle, Verantwortlicher der Herrenknecht AG für das Nanjing-Projekt vor Ort, erfuhr für seine Projekt-Performance eine besondere Ehrung. Er erhielt die "May Honorary Labor Medal" der Gewerkschaftsvereinigung der Provinz Jiangsu (Federation of Trade Unions of Jiangsu Province).
Chinesische Auftraggeber schätzen Herrenknecht als Lieferanten von groß dimensionierten Vortriebsmaschinen für besonders anspruchsvolle Missionen. In Shanghai schlossen im vergangenen Jahr die beiden weltgrößten Mixschilde (S-317, S-318, Ø 15,43 m) den Vortrieb von zwei 7,47 Kilometer langen Tunneln erfolgreich ab. Sie werden noch in diesem Jahr für den Verkehr freigegeben und verbinden damit rechtzeitig zur Expo 2010 den Stadtteil Pudong mit der Flussinsel Changxing. Mit diesem Projekt wurden weltweit neue Standards im maschinellen Tunnelbau gesetzt. Beide Röhren mit jeweils drei Fahrspuren entstanden in nur 20 Monaten Vortriebszeit.
