HS®-Rohre und Formteile überzeugen: In Bad Staffelstein wird Logik groß geschrieben. Und das nicht nur, weil der heutige Kurort im Obermain-Gebiet einen berühmten Sohn hervorgebracht hat: den Rechenmeister Adam Riese. Auch in ihr Kanalnetz bringt die fränkische Stadt seit Dezember 2005 mehr System. Dann nämlich begannen die ersten Tiefbaumaßnahmen, die 2010 abgeschlossen sein sollen. Ziel dabei ist es, die umliegenden Stadtteile an das zentrale Kanalnetz anzuschließen. Eine Herausforderung, denn das Stadtgebiet erstreckt sich auf eine Fläche von knapp 100 km2; die Hälfte der Einwohner wohnt verteilt auf 29 Ortschaften. Derzeit wird die Kanalisation in Kümmersreuth erneuert. Das Stadtbauamt hat sich dabei für Produkte von Funke entschieden. Ausschlaggebend war für die Verantwortlichen unter anderem der Systemgedanke: Zum Einsatz kommen HS®-Rohre der Nennweite DN/OD 250, bzw. für einen Verbindungskanal DN/OD 200, sowie HS®-Abzweige mit VARIOmuffen, die die Einbindung der Haushalte in Kümmersreuth erleichtern.
