The remote-controlled robot is equipped with an extendable six- track-driven chassis, which keeps the unit centered in the duct. The cleaning performance is supervised via an integrated camera and illumination unit. The dry ice and air mixture is blasted against the duct walls through a nozzle attached at the front of the unit.
The maximum hose length for the mixture of dry ice and air allows for cleaning lengths of up to 35 m. The travel speed is specified at 0.1 m/sec [FI-NEOVI].
This system has not yet been used in the cleaning of wastewater channels.
