Static Proof

Material Identification Groups and Standard Statics

CIPP liner material identification groups

For the various CIPP liner material identification groups are defined (see table). The offered CIPP liner is assigned to a material identification group, whose minimum values are achieved at least, by means of the long-term flexural modulus and the long-term flexural strength determined in the suitability test. Based on the assignment to a material identification group the material characteristics (flexural modulus and flexural strength) are selected in the table and have to be used for the static dimensioning.

Standard statics

On the basis of the material properties of the material properties groups, standard structural analyses were calculated for standard load cases of host pipe condition II, the results of which (the design wall thickness or composite thickness according to worksheet DWA-A 143-3) are summarized in matrices for the host pipe dimension and the groundwater level (see appendix C). This means that the product offered is statically pre-dimensioned for the specified load case. The standard load case of host pipe condition I is thus also covered on the safe side [DWAM144-3:2012].
