The AMEX©-10 liner end sleeve consists of an EPDM elastomer sleeve, made up for the nominal diameter, pipe cross-section and the wall thickness of the CIPP-liner to be bridged. Usually 2 to 3 stainless-steel tensioning straps are required to fix the EPDM sleeve.

Advantages:

• Flexible application even in the case of significant angles or positional offsets of pipe joints or radial cracks existing in the installation area
• The sleeve can be removed and reinstalled as required without the need for material replacement or damage to the CIPP-liner.

Disadvantages:

• The EPDM elastomer sleeve is exposed to sewer operation without protection
• In addition to the sleeve itself, the stainless-steel tensioning straps offer a potential point of attack in sewer operation.
