Feb 26, 2018
KraussMaffei Berstorff confirmed its sponsorship of the Welcome Reception of the PLASTIC PIPES XIX Conference and Exhibition. This international event will convene in Las Vegas, USA at the Red Rock Resort on the 24 – 26 September 2018.
The prestigious Omnia Terrace Club has been chosen as the reception venue. Announcing the news, Sarah Patterson, chair of the PPXIX Organizing Committee (OC) for the Plastic Pipes Conference Association (PPCA) comments: “Our event is a truly global showcase for plastic pipe technology and the industry that promotes it. We are delighted to include KraussMaffei Berstorff as PPXIX sponsors.
From its German origins in 1838, the company continuously expanded their activities to comprise extrusion machinery and components needed for the production of plastic pipe (5 mm to 2,500 mm OD). Their product portfolio encompasses future proof extrusion solutions from single-screw extruders, counter- and co-rotating twin-screw extruders with corresponding pipe heads, downstream components through to fully automated pipelines as well as unique multi-layer pipe head technologies.
Patterson also reports that the Rifeng Enterprise Group is to sponsor PLASTIC PIPES XIX at Silver Level. “Another truly exciting brand. Founded in 1996, the Group has become a technology pioneer and leading enterprise for the application of plastic pipe systems.” Patterson remarks. “As such, Rifeng Enterprise Group continues to facilitate the transformation of China's water supply, drainage, heating, gas, casing, solar and sanitary systems.”
“Rifeng Enterprise Group pipe and fitting systems have acquired over 60 international certificates enabling their expansion to over 100 countries and acquired market recognition worldwide.”
Patterson expects the Las Vegas PLASTIC PIPES XIX to reflect the significant global growth since the first event in 1972, Southampton, UK. “Already nineteen conferences later, the industry still demands innovation and achievement throughout the many applications where plastic pipe is used. The event's line-up of sponsors reflects significant interest in what has become a platform for major breakthroughs in the industry:
