New Sales Managers for Infrastructure, Industry & Buildings and for the Ombran Division in Germany
Mar 10, 2020
Thomas Schneider (46) has taken on the newly created role of Sales Manager for Infrastructure, Industry & Buildings in Germany effective 1 January 2020 --- Andreas Over (43) has been appointed Sales Manager for the om-bran division of MC-Bauchemie Müller GmbH & Co. KG in Germany.
A qualified civil engineer, Thomas Schneider has been working for MC-Bauchemie for four years, most recently as Global Target Manager in the Field of Expertise “Bridge”. He also temporarily managed MC-Bauchemie’s Service Centre in Frankfurt/Main. Previously, he worked for more than 10 years as head of sales for a manufacturer of bitumen-based products.
Thomas Schneider leads the German sales team of MC-Bauchemie's Infrastructure, Industry & Buildings division, which comprises product systems for the repair, protection and visual enhancement of concrete structures.
He reports to Anja Spirres, who as Regional Manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), retains overall responsibility for the entire Infrastructure, Industry & Buildings market segment. “We are pleased that Thomas Schneider has taken on this demanding role in order to further expand our position in the German market,” commented Anja Spirres.
New Sales Manager for the ombran Division in Germany
Andreas Over joined MC-Bauchemie in July 2010. Since then, as Area Sales Manager, he has been responsible for the sale and distribution of ombran products and the provision of technical advice and support to engineers, network operators, municipalities, industrial companies and applicators in the planning and implementation of repair measures for underground sewerage facilities. A qualified master machinist, he previously worked for several years in sales elsewhere, most recently for an international tool manufacturer.
In his new function, Andreas Over will lead the German sales team of the ombran division, which provides product systems for the repair and protection of sewer and pipeline infrastructures.
These range from repair and coating solutions for sewers and manholes to separator rehabilitation systems and reactive resin systems for the relining of pipelines (liner technology). Andreas Over reports to Anja Spirres, who as Regional Manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), has overall responsibility for the entire Infrastructure, Industry & Buildings market segment, which includes the ombran division.
“Andreas Over knows the needs and challenges of our customers as well as those of our sales staff very well from his almost ten years of sales activity at MC,” commented Anja Spirres, adding: “So we are delighted that he has taken over the role of Sales Manager for our ombran division. With him at the helm, we aim to further expand our market share in Germany and also to further advance the ombran division’s strategic alignment.”
