IBAK host the Rapid View Dealer Meeting
Oct 24, 2016
In mid-September a delegation from the United States was at the annual Rapid View Dealer Meeting in IBAK headquarters in Kiel. In one week, business relations were deepened, new products introduced, problems discussed, and solutions found.
Once a year, IBAK's American partner Rapid View holds a Dealer Meeting to introduce new products and hold discussions. This year not in the USA as is common, but in exotic Germany. As the perfect backdrop, IBAK made its headquarters in Kiel available. After Dr. Hunger had officially opened the Dealer Meeting, Rex Robison, CEO of Rapid View, introduced the program for the next few days. Then there was a little surprise for IBAK. Rex Robison, his wife Kris, CFO, and Matt Sutton, Vice President Sales & Marketing, presented Dr. Hunger an extraordinary gift: a "SCRAP PANORAMO".
Rex Robison made contact with an artist who makes the customized art made of metal scrap. The version of the IBAK PANORAMO designed by him is outwardly clearly recognizable as a PANORAMO and fascinating to look at. Even Dr. Hunger was visibly delighted about this special gift. New products were on the agenda in the afternoon. In the IBAK delivery hall, guests tested the new Mini Lite and watched live demonstrations of the new ORPHEUS with deformation measurement. However, two highlights were identified immediately:
The precise pipe course measurement with 3D-Geosense which was demonstrated in both the sliding and the flushing operation in a structural tube course; and the IBAK Robotics Demonstration on which the new lateral detector was presented and interested to test their milling art with the MicroGator on a dummy pipe. With many new impressions of the first day came to an end. The following day off was spent in glorious weather in Lübeck before it went on the next day.
The Rapid View representative presented the questions, suggestions, wishes, and problems of their dealers in personal conversations. The lessons learned were for all parties of very great value. Also for IBAK this was a special experience. It shows that reliable and technically outstanding products "made in Germany" are urgently needed even in the United States. IBAK thanks all RapidView representatives and their dealers for this esteem and a successful week.
