Christian Haferkamp new General Manager of Sales at egeplast

As of 1 January 2018, the manufacturer of plastic pipes, egeplast will be joined by 46-year-old sales expert Christian Haferkamp as general manager of sales. His responsibilities also include product management and marketing.
Dr. Ansgar Strumann, Managing Director of egeplast, on the new entrant: "With Christian Haferkamp, we managed to recruit an experienced sales manager who is a perfect match for our envisioned growth plans. He combines a high degree of strategic expertise with extensive experience in the fields of practical implementation and management in sales and knows the challenges of our industry inside out".
Christian Haferkamp's most recent position involved establishing and managing the nationwide marketing of Deutsche Lichtmiete, an innovative and booming vendor of industrial lighting solutions. Prior to that, he held various posts in the energy and telecommunication group EWE AG for almost ten years. As the managing director of the company, EWE Vertrieb GmbH, he played a major role in the company's transition from a utility provider to a customer-oriented service provider.
Christian Haferkamp, who holds a degree in industrial engineering, gained extensive experience in strategy development and project management in his six years with Roland Berger, where he was entrusted with a large range of mandates in sales and marketing as a consultant and principal.
