ADS Announces Innovative On-Line Design Application for Stormtech Stormwater Management Systems
Jun 10, 2019
Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of water management products and solutions for non-residential, residential, infrastructure and agricultural applications, announced the release of an enhanced ADS Design Tool 2.0, which is now available at the company’s websites: www.ads-pipe.com and www.stormtech.com. The new design application enables customers to incorporate site-specific information, quickly create customized CAD layouts, and the ability to edit and save these designs for review and modification.
“Our Design Tool 2.0 is more efficient and accurate compared to anything else available in the market today,” stated Greg Spires, P.E., General Manager, StormTech. “Customers looking to design underground stormwater management systems, can easily access the application through our websites.
They then can enter site specific information and quickly produce StormTech system layouts in both CAD and PDF formats. The result is a custom-tailored stormwater management system that can be immediately utilized in project documents. This is another example of the ADS commitment in continuing to provide our customers innovative water management solutions, whether that be products, solutions or technologies, to meet their needs.”
The ADS Design Tool 2.0 also allows customers to evaluate the feasibility of above ground pond replacement, alternative underground products, land values and usage, regulatory compliance, rainwater harvesting, stormwater quality, green infrastructure applications and more.
Users can also add and specify a variety of durable, cost effective ADS products to the StormTech design, including N-12® and HP pipe products as well as Nyloplast® basins and Inserta-Tee® lateral connections. StormTech chambers are utilized in a variety of construction project types to provide underground storage of stormwater in an efficient footprint. The chambers are designed in accordance with AASHTO and ASTM design standards, meet AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications for a 75-year service life.
