The World Tunnel Congress and 38th General Assembly (WTC2012) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 18th to 23rd May 2012. This is the first time that Thailand will host the ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress, one of the most privileged congresses in the construction industry. WTC2012 Bangkok will highlight the fact that underground space utilisation is important not only for particular nations or groups or businesses, but also for the entry global society. WTC2012 intended to be a wakeup call for the decision makers in the region to realize the benefits of using underground space and importance of developing the global tunneling an underground construction society.
