There will also be four post congress technical site visits such as two Seoul subway construction sites, a rail construction site, and a Seoul Ringway construction site in Seoul. Besides, diverse technical exhibitions and social programs are scheduled during the congress. The congress will provide an open forum for exchanging new information and ideas related to tunnelling industry.
The ITA WTC 2006 Exhibition will be held in conjunction with the congress sessions on the 3rd floor of COEX, where participants’ daily luncheons will be served exclusively. Participants will enjoy a sufficient time and opportunity to inspect the exhibition, and exhibitors will have an excellent opportunity of accessing a large number of potential buyers/decision makers each day.

The venue city Seoul, which has a population of over 13 million, takes pride in its long history. Seoul has been the capital city since the Chosun dynasty had completed its construction works on March 30, 1392. To celebrate Seoul’s foundation as the capital, the Korean Society of Civil Engineers has designated March 30 as "Civil Engineers’ day". Surrounded by dozens of beautiful mountains, Seoul has the Han River that centrally crosses the city from east to west. A variety of programs planned in this congress will deepen the friendship amongst participants, and various explorations with many cultural attractions will leave unforgettable memories for all participants.
