Water Innovation Forum 2015

Chaired by well-known broadcaster Wendy Austin the event will focus upon innovation and is being organised in association with Northern Ireland Water, featuring presentations from senior figures from N.I. and Irish Water, N.I. Government Departments and the Supply Chain. The Keynote Address will be provided by Sarah Venning, Chief Executive, NI Water. In addition and to ensure a more interactive event there will be two hosted "Innovation Workshops" and "Meet the Buyer" opportunities for delegates.

A new and exciting development will see a live edition of the popular ‘Water Dragons’ event, now in its eighth year this national competition for innovative products and service will for the first time include a regional opportunity for companies to enter.

Short listed entries will pitch their ideas to a panel of Senior Industry Figures, including executives from both N.I. Water and Irish Water who will decide upon the winning entry that will then go forward to the national finals later this year. To add spice to the competition there will be a special ‘Audience Award’ given to the entry gaining the most votes from the live audience on the day.

The day will be enhanced by an exhibition area where suppliers and other industry stakeholders will be able to show their wares and there will be ample networking opportunities in this magnificent venue. The Society will also be hosting a pre-event ‘Networking Dinner’ at the same venue on the evening of the 27^th May when guests from across the water and wastewater sector will enjoy an evening of fine dining and entertainment.
