Themed “Sustainable Water Solutions for a Changing Urban Environment”, the 2011 event reinforces Water Week as a platform for solutions to address the latest and most pertinent water issues amidst a rapidly changing world. It also reflects a broader focus beyond urban water solutions and other issues that affect the urban environment, such as climate change and the management of watersheds and river basins.
 
Singapore International Water Week 2010 hit a new high when the event came to a successful close on 2 July 2010. Held together with the World Cities Summit, Singapore International Water Week 2010 saw a record increase in the number of trade attendees to over 14,000 from 112 countries and regions. The total value of announcements for projects awarded, tenders, investments into Singapore and R&D MOUs exceeded S$2.8 billion, up by 27% from last year’s S$2.2 billion.
