Engineering 2008

An innovation of this year conference is the possibility to participate in technology shows at building sites in Krakow. Those special shows will be organized in cooperation with Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w Krakowie (Municipal Water and Sewage Network Company in Krakow).
The conference will run in two thematic panels simultaneously:

Room 1

• networks inspection and monitoring
• networks rehabilitation
• pipes in trenchless technology
• HDD
• cables in city underground infrastructure
• pipe jacking and microtunnelling

Room 2

• tunnelling
• underground construction
• geoengineering
• bridges
• hydro-technical construction

In order to make sure that the knowledge is disseminated regardless of the participants' native language, most of the lectures will be interpreted simultaneously and given both in Polish and English. It will enable all the guests to fully participate in the conference. The technology shows and exhibition of companies and equipment will accompany the lectures.
On the second day of the conference TYTAN 2008 Awards will be granted traditionally. The prize-winners selected from companies nominated by us will be chosen by independent jury.
