To meet the challenge on such a scale that huge, on the ground of enhancing risk prevention and mitigation of construction risk, keeping tunnelling in tune with environmental harmony, China's 4th International Symposium on Tunnelling is to be held from 28th to 30th Oct 2009 in Shanghai, China , as jointly hosted by China’s Society of Civil Engineering, Shanghai Society of Civil Engineering and Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co. Ltd , after approval by Shanghai Municipal Government.
