This first-of-its-kind Asset Management Excellence Exchange Program will allow for both private and public businesses to come together and share case studies on best practice asset management programs and projects. The two-day conference is expected to draw an audience of over 200 professionals from a wide variety of market segments from New England and beyond.

The private sector will be represented by professionals from the Miller Brewing Company, Intel Corporation Raytheon, General Electric, and Harvard University.  The public utilities’ speakers include the Las Vegas Water District, Orange County Sanitation District, Metropolitan Milwaukee Sanitary District, Seattle Public Utilities and the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority.  In addition, government officials from the Federal Highway Association and EPA will be participating in the event.

The overriding goal of the seminar is to provide a forum for individuals from utilities (water, wastewater, electric, telecom and gas), manufacturing, transportation and related fields to discuss the best approaches for the development and implementation of asset management programs and projects.  Research across industries has shown that the implementation of successful asset management programs can be the key to gaining more efficiency with assets which will result in better business decisions.
