The Trans-ASEAN Gas Pipeline and other Asian gas development projects are an integral part of the worldwide trend towards greater use of natural gas in meeting energy demand growth. The 2006 Asian Pipeline Conference and Exhibition will examine the latest innovation in the areas of pipeline design, construction and operation as well as providing insights into the current state of play on pipeline development in the ASEAN region.
The conference is being organised jointly by the ASEAN Council of Petroleum Gas Centre (AGC) and the Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) as a long term commitment to the development of a world class industry focused pipeline event in the ASEAN region. The conference program will include a mixture of local, regional and international speakers. The inaugural event in September 2005 attracted 120 delegates from 9 countries to discuss policy, technical and operational issues relating to the petroleum pipeline sector.
