Plans for OZPIPE XIX in Full Swing
Mar 07, 2019
The Plastic Pipes Conference Association (PPCA) announces that its spin-off event in Australasia will be called OZPIPE XIX and will showcase significant developments in the field of plastic pipe technology and industry. It also reports that a website has been launched to communicate Plastic Pipes XX, its main global Conference and Exhibition to be held next year in Amsterdam.
- OZPIPE XIX will be hosted late this year in Australia on 7 and 8 November 2019 at Dockside on Cockle Bay in Sydney.
- PPXX will be held on 21 -23 September in 2020 at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Zoran Davidovski, chair of the PPCA Organizing Committee comments: “OZPIPE XIX is shaping up to be an exciting technical event on the Australasian calendar for 2019. The world market for plastic pipes continues to grow exponentially by volume and by application. Significant technical and commercial developments are set to transform the global plastic pipe industry and these will have particular consequences for the Australasian region.”
Davidovski adds that speakers from the UK, USA, Belgium, China and Austria have already confirmed their attendance at OZPIPE XIX and that a call for papers will be issued this February. It is also important to note that this Conference and Exhibition will be hosted by The Plastics Industry Pipe Association of Australia (PIPA).
Main corporate sponsors for OZPIPE XIX and PPXX are Rollepaal and Baerlocher. “Rollepaal is one of the world’s leading suppliers of pipe extrusionequipment,” comments Davidovski. “And Baerlocher is a global supplier of additives to the plastic pipe industry.”
“We are also delighted that MOL will sponsor Ozpipe XIX at Gold Level. MOL is a leading manufacturer of injected moulded and extruded elastomer sealing systems and rubber profiles. Such endorsements clearly indicate that our event in Amsterdam will gain tremendous momentum.”
