I have forgotten my password, what can I do?
For safety reasons you cannot ask anyone for your password, this includes the UNITRACC editorial office. But you can request a new password via the link "Forgotten your password?" beneath the UNITRACC logo. This password in generated automatically by the system.
Please follow the link "Forgotten your password" and enter your UNITRACC username and your email address in the form. The system will promptly send you a new password to your email address. You can change this password under your "personal settings" (key icon in the menu bar) after successfully logging in.

If I register free of charge do I have to pay for the use of UNITRACC after the trial period?
After the end of the gratis trial period you are still recorded in the UNITRACC system as a registered user. You can still use UNITRACC after the trial period free of charge - however only with restrictions concerning content and functions. Please book one of our access packs if you furthermore like to access the various contents and functions. The resulting costs will then be charged.

Even though I am not logged in I can see a user name beneath the UNITRACC logo. Am I logged in after all?
No. Even though a user name is displayed you are not logged in. It may depend on the used Internet browser, because sometimes parts of the Internet page is not loaded and displayed properly. Please use the "reload" or "refresh" button in your Internet button to ensure a complete reload of the page.

Why is UNITRACC not free of charge?
We provide many UNITRACC-areas free of charge. The research and the editing of substantiated and well prepared technical, objective and verified information is very time-consuming and work-intensive. The development of e.g. evaluation & calculation tools involves a lot of work, so that we cannot provide these services free of charge.
The cost for the use of UNITRACC is differentiated according to the access extent. You can decide how much you would like to spend for the use of UNITRACC.

Are my personal favorites and my history saved in the system?
Yes. Your personal entries in the history and in the favorites are saved in the system. The recording only takes place if you leave the system by using the logout-button (beneath the UNITRACC logo when logged in).

Does UNITRACC have a Session-Timeout
Yes. UNITRACC has a Session-Timeout.
Session-Timeout means the "logout" of a logged in user after a certain time. If the system is not able to register any user "movements" for a time period of 60 minutes, e.g. clicks or sending forms, then the currently logged in user is logged out. Subsequently a new log in procedure is necessary.
