UNITRACC News Issue: November 2009

Welcome

Robert Stein

Dear Sir or Madam,

Leaky and defect sewers are a main important topic today. It is a central task for operators and engineers to find the best professional rehabilitation method for these sewers.

Depending on the damages and boundary conditions either repair, renovation or even replacement of the sewer is considered.

In this newsletter issue we will introduce two examples of successful rehabilitation projects. Learn more about the renovation of a sewer in Strasbourg via sliplining or get information about the new steering technology for guided auger boring techniques, which allows a replacement of sewers in non-displaceable grounds via pipe eating.

Enjoy reading this issue and exploring the underground!
