After the Conference is Before the Conference - UNITRACC will be presented on the 2006 No-Dig Show in Nashville

The conference is organised by the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT). During the conference from 26 to 31 March 2006 people who are interested will be able to gain a detailed impression of UNITRACC and virtually explore the underground together with trained expert staff. The extensive information- and learning offer of the platform will be presented by the participants at a booth in the exhibition hall. The provisional programme of the conference comprises around 100 expert lectures and seminars concerning various fields of pipeline construction. This includes topics like horizontal fluid directional drilling processes, microtunnelling and geology as well as risk assessment of rehabilitation- and new construction processes. Furthermore, the organizers intend to look back on 15 years of outstanding services and further developments in trenchless pipeline construction. On more than 3000 pages, divided into the areas "Information", "Learning" and "Working", UNITRACC offers valuable, multi-media expert information, helpful tools for the everyday work of engineers and in addition, practically-oriented simulations and animations that complete the comprehensive spectrum of knowledge of the platform for sewer and pipeline construction. Especially for engineering consultants, communities, but also for students the web portal is a true enrichment. Particularly the linking of the areas "Working" and "Learning" is in the centre of attention: in this way all components of information are available in the different areas due to the unique structure. The integration of practically-oriented tools enables a high level of real-life education and training.

Reading up on the variety of valuable information on the internet and in libraries would mean endless hours of work or the purchase of various reference books. With UNITRACC a unique portal has been developed which bundles this data and presents it to the user in a corresponding way.
